Trial for British and Irish Under 16 & 18 International

The annual British and Irish under 16 (born 1994-1995) and under 18 (born 1992-1993) mountain running international will be held in Glendalough, County Wicklow on 19th September between England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.The race route will be an up and down course on forest and grass paths which will be well suited to cross-country runners.
The British and Irish trial races to select the teams are being held on August 7th in Crone Wood Wicklow in conjunction with the trial for the World championships. The trial races for under 16 boys and girls will be held over shorter distances than the junior trial races.
Claire Brennan (Celtic DCH) has been pre-selected for the under 16 team and Kevin Dooney (Raheny) and Michael Treacy (DSD) have been pre-selected for the boys under 18 team.
